The Blaenavon World Heritage Environment Group (BWHEG) is a volunteer group that works in partnership to protect and promote the unique World Heritage Site at Blaenavon.

We carry out a variety of regular activities and tasks to help conserve, enhance and promote the unique and precious natural and cultural heritage of the area.

Amongst the special groups we have are those who are involved in archaeology, dry stone walling, wildlife, and walking as well as a general task group that ensures we help conserve the World Heritage Site
